Facebook Messenger now lets y'all add together text and drawings to photos earlier sending them

Facebook Messenger has merely been updated with a new prototype editor that lets you add text and drawings to photos before sending them to your friends.

When sharing a photo from your device's photograph library, the new version of Facebook'due south standalone messaging app for iOS gives you the option to edit it prior to sending. Afterwards tapping the Edit option on a selected photo, yous can add together some textual and visual touches to it in the app's new image editing screen.

Tap the "Aa" icon at the lesser of the screen to add text to the photo. The text is automatically centered with respect to the horizontal, but it tin can be moved up and down.

To add together drawings to the photo, tap the scribble icon at the bottom. You can then swipe across the photograph to add doodles and whatnot. Slide up and down the color spectrum at the right edge of the screen to change the color and swipe sideways to adjust the line width.

The latest update to Facebook Messenger too delivers bug fixes.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Facebook Messenger is available on the App Store for free.
